Welcome to The Grand Scoop (a trading name of ‘Grand Events House Limited’).
By hiring our ice cream cart for your event, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully—they’re here to make sure everything runs smoothly.
1. Booking & Payment
Booking: Your booking is confirmed once we receive your signed agreement and deposit.
Deposit: A 50 % deposit is required to confirm your booking and is non-refundable.
Full Payment: The remaining balance is due 2 working days before your event.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer or other standard payment methods.
2. Cancellations
By You: If you cancel more than 5 days before your event, your deposit is lost. If you cancel within 1 day, full payment may be forfeited.
By Us: In rare cases (like extreme weather or equipment failure), we may need to cancel. You’ll get a full refund or a chance to reschedule.
3. Event Setup
Please provide a safe, accessible area for the cart.
If electricity is needed, make sure it’s available.
Customers are responsible for any local permits required for the event.
4. Safety & Responsibility
Keep guests and staff safe around the cart.
Any damage caused by misuse may incur extra charges.
Let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions ahead of time.
5. Our Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the hire.
We aren’t responsible for accidents or property damage unless it’s caused by our negligence.
6. Food & Hygiene
We follow strict food safety rules.
Allergies or dietary requirements must be shared at least 5 days before your event.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website.
